چکیده

Consider the differential equation y 0 = F(x, y). We determine weakest possible upper bound on |F(x, y) − z)| which guarantees that this has for all initial values a unique solution, exists globally.

A More General Version of the Costa Theorem

In accordance with the Costa theorem, the interference which is independent of the channel input and known non-causally at the transmitter, does not affect the capacity of the Gaussian channel. In some applications, the known interference depends on the input and hence has some information. In this paper, we study the channel with input dependent interference and prove a capacity theorem that n...

A FUZZY VERSION OF HAHN-BANACH EXTENSION THEOREM

In this paper, a fuzzy version of the analytic form of Hahn-Banachextension theorem is given. As application, the Hahn-Banach theorem for$r$-fuzzy bounded linear functionals on $r$-fuzzy normedlinear spaces is obtained.

Online version of the theorem of Thue

A sequence S is nonrepetitive if no two adjacent blocks of S are the same. In 1906 Thue proved that there exist arbitrarily long nonrepetitive sequences over 3 symbols. We consider the online variant of this result in which a nonrepetitive sequence is constructed during a play between two players: Bob is choosing a position in a sequence and Alice is inserting a symbol on that position taken fr...

The Topological Version of Fodor’s Theorem

The following purely topological generalization is given of Fodor’s theorem from [F1] (also known as the “pressing down lemma”): Let X be a locally compact, non-compact T2 space such that any two closed unbounded (c u b) subsets of X intersect [of course, a set is bounded if it has compact closure]; call S ⊂ X stationary if it meets every c u b in X. Then for every neighbourhood assignment U de...
